(Seoul=News1) Kyung-jin Koo, Heejin Jeong = On October 1, South Korea’s first-ever high-altitude slackline performance took place in Gwanghwamun, the heart of Seoul. World-renowned Estonian slackliner Jaan Roose delivered a heart-stopping spectacle as he traversed a 160-meter line suspended at the height of a 40-story apartment building between the Koreana Hotel and the Dong-A Media Center. The line measured a mere 2.5 centimeters wide.
Ahead of the main event, Cheonggye Plaza drew crowds with breaking performances and hands-on slacklining experiences. Spectators craned their necks to watch Roose take on the challenge, erupting in applause and cheers.
