On May 28, South Korea held a major joint live-fire exercise in Pocheon, the first large-scale exercise of its kind since 2023.
The South Korean military showcased swarm drones and one-way attack drones in action, alongside K2 tanks and K21 infantry fighting vehicles equipped with additional protection against drone threats.
The exercise also featured manned-unmanned teaming (MUM-T), with robotic systems including quadrupedal robots deployed alongside troops.
